To Blog or not to Blog....
Hello Readers, This is Kitt, E.D. Baker's elder daughter. I'm going to do my best to start blogging regularly to keep you updated on our joint (and separate) projects and things that E.D. has been working on. We've been talking about doing a blog for some time, but haven't made it much of a priority, until well, today!
This blog is going to cover all kinds of topics. Fair warning, it won't be just about writing.
Some of you may have noticed that the E.D. Baker social media pages on both Facebook and Instagram are active again. We're doing our best to tackle all of the tasks that go into promoting the books, keeping readers engaged and developing interesting content, as well as writing, of course! If you have any questions or topics you'd like to see us discuss, we'd love to hear from you.
In writing news - We are in the process of polishing off three separate and very different middle grade novels (potentially series) that we have been working on together for the past several years. What I can tell you is that they are NOT princess or fairy tale related in any way. We are also beginning to update and publish some of the books that have had their rights reverted back to E.D. from her publisher. If you've been watching the website, you'll see Fairy Wings has been updated with a new cover and a bonus chapter. We've also published a brand new novella that takes place between Fairy Wings & Fairy Lies called Fairy Trust. We plan to have the new 2026 updated version of Fairy Lies available by mid November. E.D. had a lot of fun writing Fairy Trust and would love to hear what you think of it!
Note - when an author gets the rights to her books back, she cannot use the original cover, hence we've created our own. I'm an artist (and author!) and made the covers for the new Fairy Wings as well as Fairy Trust. The concept behind the cover of Fairy Wings is that Tamisin created it herself. She and her friend, Heather, have taken up scrapbooking - also known as junk journaling. Her work isn't perfect yet, but she's trying! Gammi made the cover for Fairy Trust. Her crafting friends are teaching her how to cross stitch. (I taught myself how to do it for this cover!) We hope you like them both! Just so you know - I'm currently working on the cover for Fairy Lies.
We plan to do a couple of GIVE AWAYS during the upcoming holiday season. These will be run through the blog and NOT on social media due to restrictions on the various platforms. Be sure to bookmark this Blog so that you don't miss out on any updates.
Thanks for visiting.
Happy Reading! Kitt & E.D.
